Mucross House Crystal Window
We at Dreoilin Glass had the privilage to be asked to replicate a number of panels in the Crystal Window and restore it to its former glory.
The process is called Wheel Engraving or Brilliant Cutting.
A stone wheel is used to cut the design and a Wood Wheel is used with Pumice Powder for the first polish then finally a felt wheel using Cerium Powder to give its final brilliance.
